In 2005 animate designs launched and implemented the 'beGreen initiative'.
"We are very aware of the impact business has on the environment, especially in the design and publishing sector – we produce more paper-based waste than anyone else, and that's easily recyclable!"
But recycling is only a small part of the beGreen initiative, it's a much wider system that has been put in place. For example, wherever possible we encourage the use of electronic over paper-based office administration, and we even have a low-tech fix for all those notes that need jotting down: waste paper re-use.
...and our coffee room has the best, ethically acquired, coffee beans that we can find! Whoever said ethical spending can't be enjoyable?
